Why does Hollywood continue to rehash the same formulaic ideas over and over again? Because that’s the safer bet. More people are likely to go see Transformers 19 than sit through an Oscar-winning dramatic film.

The great thing about these people was not that they were great ideators. Their greatness lies in the fact that they could build awesome things and constantly build awesome things, mostly on top of each other. (btw in case you are wondering, math folks build mathematical proofs!)
